About Us
We are the Nichols Family.
In 2021, we left behind the big house in the suburbs with the manicured lawn, the buzz of a busy town, and the convenience of "having it all at our fingertips", to answer the call in our hearts to become first-generation farmers and homesteaders. We set out to get closer to the peace of nature and learn to become stewards of our beautiful land and the animals entrusted to our care. Our family was blessed to find our farm on the Conway River, nestled in the foothills of the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains. While working to restore a dilapidated 100-year-old farmhouse, we began to follow traditional farming practices, raising animals and growing plants holistically, and working together as a family to become self-sufficient.

We hope that by sharing our experiences and our wisdom as holistic health practitioners, and by opening a piece of our paradise to our glamping guests, we can inspire other families to get back to their roots and leave behind the pieces of a modern world that leave us feeling disconnected from our souls, families, and the earth.
